They wanted a classic black and white style reminiscent of 1920’s caricaturists, such as Hirschfeld, Covarrubias, Garreto, etc… Tom Christensen, head of the publishing department invited me over to check out the show and pick up some catalogues. It’s a wide ranging show, with artists such as Jeff Koons, John Currin, Andy Warhol, and dozens more. The sculpture in the show ranges from thousand year old mandalas to an early version of the iPhone.
